The project target site is Hahi settlement, Odwaine district, Todheer region. The population of the project target site is approximately 12,000 households mostly women and children.
95% of the households are returnees from refugee camps in the neighboring countries like Ethiopia. Hahi settlement community has no access to any type of health facility and services except the traditional birth assistants who have limited knowledge, skills and tools on basic delivery care needed for antenatal/postnatal care and general health,

The project target site is Berbera city, Berbera district, Sahil region. The population of the project target site is approximately 20,000 households mostly women and children.
Berbera city community has no access to any type of health facility and services.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems or at least 70% improve the situation within this project we are proposing the below actions which are necessary to be undertaken for the maternity,/children health and general health improvement as well, the activities are:
- Rehabilitation and extension of the main maternity and child health centre (MCH)
- Provision of health facility furniture and tools with the help U N I C E F
- Skill Training of available health staff
- Training of TBAs, CHWs on skills necessary to properly serve their communities.
